Vogue 8581 Top

This Vogue pattern 8581 is my first realization.

I made the top with a blue two-way stretch cotton knit. The pattern is easy but I had some difficulties to sew the knit fabric. It's probably because it's not a good idea for a beginner to start with a stretch knit!

The only modification I made was to use a 1/4" elastic instead of a 3/4".
I will probably use this pattern again!

Hi y'all,

Welcome to my new blog!
Today, August 11st, 2010, I'm creating the english version of my french/english sewing blog [Kikuyu]
To keep trace of everything I've done until now, I will put all my sewing with the same date than the [Kikuyu] blog.

On this blog, there will be all my sewing with english comments, and on the "older" one will become a french-only version.
plus, the older one will also have all my sister (KiKou) sewing, so if you're interested you can still check it out, even though it's only in french!
